Prof. (Dr.) Madhu Khanna (D. Phil. Oxon.) is an author, scholar, curator, cultural researcher, and visionary founder of The Tantra Foundation. A world authority and eminent scholar of Tantric Studies, Indic and Religious Studies. From Oxford University’s Faculty of Oriental Studies, she earned a doctoral degree specializing in Hindu Shakta Tantra based on Kashmir Shaiva tradition.

I designed the logo and website for Dr. Khanna keeping in mind her strong focus on Shakta Tantra. The gray (white & black) and red accents, the colors of Tantra, combined with the inverted red triangle symbolizing Shakti, the feminine principle, converge into her name.

About

Tharini Sankarasubramanian is a high-energy, versatile, and organized designer, visual artist, and creative storyteller who consistently executes and delivers at a high level. Her work spans cultural projects, brand storytelling, and collaborations with artists, galleries, non-profits, and start-ups.

Tharini holds an MFA in Graphic Design and Visual Experience from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She is currently based in New York City.
