A packaging design project for Anbu Agarbathi, a South Indian incense brand. The final design that was chosen uses ritual colors of saffron, turmeric yellow, and ash white, and adorned with the traditional art of Kolam, popular in South Indian households. The design incorporates a culturally significant identity, tailored for the local market.

About

Tharini Sankarasubramanian is a high-energy, versatile, and organized designer, visual artist, and creative storyteller who consistently executes and delivers at a high level. Her work spans cultural projects, brand storytelling, and collaborations with artists, galleries, non-profits, and start-ups.

Tharini holds an MFA in Graphic Design and Visual Experience from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She is currently based in New York City.
